You can explore our tutorials without creating an account. This policy explains the information involved when you visit the site, load a video or send us an email.
1. About this policy
This policy applies to the YJ Hoffmann Origami website, operated under the YJ Hoffmann name. For questions about your information, contact yjhoffmannorigami@gmail.com. External websites, including YouTube, have their own privacy policies.
2. Information and its use
- Website visits. Our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose errors.
- Email enquiries. If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and attachments. We use these to respond and handle your enquiry. Please only include information needed for your request.
- Search and filters. Tutorial searches and filters run in your browser. Your selections appear in the page URL and may be retained in your browser history or included when you share a link. Requests containing that URL may also be processed by our hosting provider. Please do not put personal or sensitive information in the search box.
The site currently has no visitor accounts, checkout, comment forms or mailing-list signup.
3. Third-party services
Cloudflare. Cloudflare Pages hosts and delivers this website and provides network security. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
YouTube. Video thumbnails load from YouTube’s image servers when they are displayed, so those requests can share your IP address and browser information with Google before you load a video. The embedded player and its supporting script load only after you select “Load video tutorial.” We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player and do not enable autoplay. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data is processed: Google may receive technical information and playback activity, and may use cookies or similar storage when you interact with the player. Visiting YouTube through a link is also subject to Google’s policies.
Fonts and email. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to deliver them. Email sent to our Gmail address is processed by Google and your email provider.

6. Your choices and rights
You can browse without loading the video player, manage cookies through your browser, and choose what you share by email. Blocking third-party resources may affect fonts, images or video playback.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact yjhoffmannorigami@gmail.com to make a request about information we hold. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Requests about information held independently by Google or Cloudflare should be directed to those providers. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Children’s privacy
Children should ask a parent or guardian before sending personal information by email or using third-party services. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should be removed, please contact us so we can review and address it.
8. Updates and contact
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. For privacy questions or requests, email yjhoffmannorigami@gmail.com.
