Folded Paper Display Frame
Measure and fold a shallow square frame for a small paper decoration.

- One 15 × 15 cm paper square
- Ruler and pencil

Prepare the square
Open image at full size ↗Start with a 15 × 15 cm square.
Mark the border
Open image at full size ↗Draw four parallel lines on each side, spaced 1 cm apart.
Cut the corners
Open image at full size ↗Cut away the four corner squares where the border lines intersect.
Mark the tabs
Open image at full size ↗On the upper and lower arms, draw the angled end lines shown. Keep the marked sections 1 cm apart.
Cut the notches
Open image at full size ↗Remove the trapezoid-shaped sections so the ends can tuck into the neighboring frame sides.
Fold the sides
Open image at full size ↗Fold one arm inward along its parallel lines to form a raised frame edge. Repeat on the other three sides.
Secure the frame
Open image at full size ↗Tuck the corners together and add a little glue at the four joins.
