   Fold the square upward in half. Fold the right end diagonally in both directions, opening each time to mark their intersection.

   Bring the opposite corner to that intersection. Fold the flap back to align with the left edge. Bring the right section to the left along the guide.

   Fold the wedge backward in half. Cut away the excess along the shown line, then open the pentagon.

   Fold along the radial creases into a layered wedge and rotate it. Fold the indicated lower edge toward the center line.

   Fold upward toward the center line to make the second crease. Bring the preceding crease to the center line and fold again. Repeat on all five sections.

   Lift one section and alternate mountain and valley folds along the marked lines. Gather and flatten the layers.

   Repeat on every section. On the narrow folded model, bring the two indicated lower edges toward the middle and unfold.

   Open and squash each small pocket. Fold its corners diagonally upward, first to the right and then to the left.

   Repeat those folds on the remaining sections. Fold the indicated long edges toward the middle around the base.

    Spread the petals one at a time from the top. Shape them gently around the central opening.
