Crescent Paper Moon
Turn a folded paper diamond into a curved crescent moon. Add a little hanging bunny for a seasonal decoration.

Steps 1–4
Open image at full size ↗Prepare a square sheet and fold it in half.
Fold the upper and lower sloping edges to the centerline.
Press one side along the indicated folds.
Repeat on the opposite side as shown.
Steps 5–8
Open image at full size ↗Open the folds to check the crease pattern.
Unfold and cut along the dotted diamond outline.
Keep the central diamond-shaped piece.
Fold it to the left along the dotted line.
Steps 9–12
Open image at full size ↗Check the folded shape.
Open and fold again along the centerline as indicated.
Open and repeat the earlier folds in the opposite direction.
Unfold and fold leftward along the centerline.
Steps 13–16
Open image at full size ↗Fold inward again.
Open and press the narrow creases along the dotted lines.
Open to reveal the full crease pattern.
Bring the folds together toward the middle.
Steps 17–20
Open image at full size ↗Gather the folds into the illustrated shape.
Press them together gently.
Curve the folded strip into a crescent moon.
Optionally hang a finished paper bunny from the top of the crescent.
